The 4th Cyprus SUP-er CUP has come to an end!

The 4th Cyprus SUP CUP successfully came to an end last Sunday 8^th of October at ‘The Spot’, Softades Beach!

After three “exciting” races, in Larnaca, Protaras and Limassol where 52 athletes in total participated, the last race marked the end of the 4th  Cyprus SUP CUP! Next stop the Isthmus of Corinth Hellenic Sup Cup where the winners will compete for a place at the Hellenic Sup Cup.

Hard and inflatable boards, lots of paddles, MagiCam cameras, and positive vibes where on the scene from the early hours at the beautiful and secluded beach of Larnaca. With favorable weather conditions all 22 athletes managed to pass the finish line securing their points and places at the Cyprus Sup Cup results!

In the Men’s 6km 14” board category,Zachos Koumoydiou hit the finishing line first securing his first place in the 4^th Cyprus Sup Cup and his  ticket to Greece at the Isthmus of Corinth whilst Christofer Bullant came in second.

In the Men’s 6km 12,6” board category, George Klinakis came first securing his ticket to the Isthmus of Corinth whereas Constantinos Charalambous came second and at the third place George Ioannou.

In the Men’s 2km ‘Fun Race’ Neofytos Mashias managed to finish first securing his 2^nd place overall in the Cyprus Sup Cup, whilst Paris Georgiades finished 2^nd securing his 1^st place overall in the 4^th Cyprus Sup Cup. In the 3^rd place George Paskouis.

In the Women’s 6 km 14’’ board, the race and cup overall was won by Anna Koula securing her ticket as well to the Isthmus!

In the Women’s 6 km 12,6’’ board Maria Panagi came in first and Trish Brown second!

In the Women’s 2km ‘Fun Race’ Natalia Georgiadou finished first, followed by Rebekah Thomas in the 2^nd place!

As regards the Under 18 14”category, Alexandros Vasiliou secured first place in the 6km 14” board category, securing also his place in the final of the Hellenic CUP at the crossing of the unique Isthmus of Corinth, whereas Nicolas Michael in the 2^nd place followed by Haris Andreou in the 3^rd place.

Last but not least, in the Under 18 6km 12, 6” board category, Alexandros Michaelides reached the finishing line first and Michael Sarkissian second whereas in the Under 18 2km ‘Fun Race’, the first two places were taken by Notis Kazamias & our 9yr old athlete Elias Olympios.

All the winners of each category secured their participation in the big final of the Hellenic SUP Cup 2017, at the Crossing of the Unique Isthmus of Corinth October 15^th , in addition to the prizes.

Having completed the competition part, the «Sprint Race» took place where anyone could participate, irrespective of level, age, gender or participation in the Cup. Christofer Bullant and Maria Panagi finished first!

The winners who secured their participation in the big final of the 7^th Hellenic SUP Cup 2017, at the Crossing of the Unique Isthmus of Corinth which will take place on Sunday 15th October are:

Το 4^ο Παγκύπριο Πρωτάθλημα Σανιδοκωπηλασίας έριξε αυλαία!

Το 4^ο Παγκύπριο Πρωτάθλημα Σανιδοκωπηλασίας έριξε αυλαία την περασμένη Κυριακή 8 Οκτωβρίου στο ‘The Spot’, παραλία Softades!

Μετά από τρεις συναρπαστικούς αγώνες στην Λάρνακα, Πρωταρά και Λεμεσό όπου 52 αθλητές κατάφεραν να περάσουν την γραμμή τερματισμού ο τελευταίος αγώνας στις 8 Οκτωβρίου σήμανε το τέλος του 4^ου Παγκύπριου Πρωταθλήματος! Επόμενη στάση Ισθμός της Κορίνθου!

Από το πρωί της Κυριακής αθλητές και θεατές κατέκλυσαν την παραλία Σοφτάδες με τα σκάφη τους, κουπιά,  MagiCam cameras και θετική ενέργεια!

Στην κατηγορία Άνδρες 6km 14” ο Ζάχος Κουμουδιού κατάφερα να τερματίσει πρώτος εξασφαλίζοντας το εισιτήριο του για τον Ισθμό της Κορίνθου ενώ στην δεύτερη θέση ακολούθησε ο Christofer Bullant!

Στην κατηγορία Άνδρες 6km 12’6” πρώτος τερμάτισε ο Γιώργος Κλεινάκης, στη ο Γιώργος Ιωάννου ασφαλίζοντας την 3^η θέση στην γενική κατάταξη.

Στην κατηγορία Άνδρες 2km ‘Fun Race’ ο Νεόφυτος Μάσσιας κατάφερε να τερματίσει πρώτος ασφαλίζοντας την 2^η θέση στη γενική κατάταξη, ενώ ο Πάρης Γεωργιάδης τερμάτισε 2^ος ασφαλίζοντας την 1^η θέση στη γενική κατάταξη. Στην 3^η θέση τερμάτισε ο Γιώργος Πασκουής.

Στην κατηγορία Γυναίκες 6km 14’’ η Άννα Κούλα κατάφερε να τερματίσει πρώτη εξασφαλίζοντας και αυτή μια θέση στον Ισθμό της Κορίνιθου!

Στην κατηγορία Γυναίκες 6km 12’6’’ η Μαρία Παναγή τερμάτισε 1^η ενώ στην 2^η θέση η Trish Brown!

Στην κατηγορία Γυναίκες 2km‘Fun Race’ η Ναταλία Γεωργιάδου τερμάτισε πρώτη ενώ η Rebekah Thomas στην 2^η θέση!

Στην κατηγορία  κάτω των 18 6km 14” ο Αλέξανδορς Βασιλείου εξασφάλισε την πρώτη θέση, στην 2^η θέση ακολούθησε ο Νικόλας Μιχαήλ ενώ στην 3^η θέση τερμάτισε ο Χάρης Αντρέου!

Στην κατηγορία  κάτω των 18 6km 12’6” πρώτος τερμάτισε ο Αλέξανδρος Μιχαηλίδης ακολουθώντας ο Michael Sarkissian! Στην κατηγορία under 18 2km ‘Fun Race’, τις πρώτη θέση στην γενική κατάταξη εξασφάλισε ο Νότης Καζαμίας ενώ στην 2^η θέση ο 9χρονος μας αθλητής Ηλίας Ολύμπιος!

Στον αγώνα  «Sprint Race» άνδρες πρώτος τερμάτισε ο Christofer Bullant ενώ στις γυναίκες η Μαρία Παναγή!

Όλοι οι νικητές στην κατηγορία 6km εξασφάλισαν το εισιτήριο τους για τον τελικό του Hellenic SUP Cup 2017, στον Ισθμό της Κορίνθου στις 15Οκτωβρίου 2017!
